Convenient 3/bedroom Guest House in Adamstown

Centrally located on Brunker Road in Adamstown, our 3 Bedroom Cottage, sleeps up to 5 people and is the perfect family getaway. The beach is only 10 minutes away and all other key points in Newcastle also 10 minutes away.
The residence has its own private entrance at the back of the premise, where you can easily slip into relaxation mode with the surrounding garden and back deck.
The space
The living and dining area look out over the deck and the surrounding high hedges giving total privacy. The entrance to the Cottage is via the stairs near the deck.
There is a fantastic entertaining deck with gas BBQ facilities and dining for 6 people. There is extra seating space along the custom-built garden seat.
Festoon lighting makes the perfect outdoor lighting for the evenings.

Internal laundry with front loader washing machine. The driveway can fit 2 cars behind each other, or there is free parking on the street.

Walking distance to local cafes and the main shops on Brunker Road including Post Office, Chemist, Butcher and Foodworks. 10 minute drive to Merewether Beach, 5 minute drive to McDonald Jones Stadium, 8 minutes to Kotara Westfields and Restaurants, and 14 minutes to the center of Newcastle. Celebrations Bottle shop is next door.

Bedroom 3 - King Single

The living and dining space has a HD wall mounted SMART TV with netflix and a split system air-conditioner. Lots of windows to open and enjoy the afternoon breeze.
A small selection of childrens puzzles and toys in the white cabinet for the little ones. High chair available on request.
A fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, complete cooking facilities, family size fridge/ freezer, coffee machine, tea and coffee supplies.
Guest access
The Cottage is located at the back of the property and accessed via the door near the deck. The front of the premise is a Retail Store which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm. You will have your own access up the driveway.
When you arrive, enter through the 2 white driveway gates and go straight down the driveway at the side of the house to your private entrance at the back of the premise.
Other things to note
Although we are located in the hub of things, we like to make sure our neighbours are happy and by keeping things pretty low-key, so I just ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
The property has a security camera on the side verandah facing Brunker Road as part of the shop security.

We had a great time at this property. The house isn’t too big but really comfortable for 5 of us. We really like the living room. It’s very near to Foodwork so we can easily get our groceries there. However, the parking was a bit small for our van but there’s empty parking on the street so it’s alright.

My husband and I stayed in Sarah's house with our children for the recent PSSA hockey tournament and it was a great spot, very close to all of the amenities, Westfield is just down the road, and beaches within a short drive. Nice big kitchen, lovely back deck with the Winter sun, and spacious bedrooms. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Great outdoor spot with webber Q. A short walk down to eating places. The Nags Hotel is great find nearby. Train station not too far away.

Place was lovely, as described. Suited 3 adults who had a work training week away, gone during the day and needed somewhere to cook dinner and sleep. Simple decor, clean and tidy. Thanks for nice week

We stayed from Monday to Friday and had a great time. Everything was exactly as described and it had everything we possibly needed. Oh, and did i mention the beds are sooo comfortable! The outdoor area was great for a bbq after a day at the beach. We all had a great trip. Thank you.

We were in. Newcastle for hockey carnival so this house was perfect for the family in a convenient location to the hockey centre and not far from the beach, restaurants and tourist locations.

Perfect central location 5 minute drive to everything we needed including the beach, restaurants & shopping centre. Off street parking. Great house layout especially for 3 kids. Conveniently right next door to BWS bottle shop and 10 min walk to convenience store.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay immensely. Easy check-in process. Nice & clean home. Some added perks (a/c, espresso machine, kids activities). Close to all necessary amenities. Definitely remember owners the next time we visit Newcastle.

The family and I (5 adults total) had an incredible stay here. Check in info was complete and timely and no issues at all with getting in. The property itself feel like a house even though the front is retail space; we really didn’t know they were there. Private gated driveway in and fully gated yard provided a real sense of security. We foodies loved the kitchen setup and BBQ in the large covered deck. The hosts were very timely with responses to questions. Beds comfy, clean quality linen and towels and a large family room with lots of games and wide screen TV that was simple to use. We loved coming back here at the end of our days out and about enjoying Newcastle. Honestly, take it from someone who is very picky: look no further, you will love this place.

My partner, my mother and I stayed at this property for a wedding. The bathroom, laundry and pantry were stocked with items and the property was very spacious and clean. The outdoor area was also very lovely. We would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect for everything. Beds were extremely comfortable and fit my partner and his brother which were nearly 7 foot.
