"This was/is our favorite house in Cloudcroft and over the 50 years we’ve been visiting, we’ve stayed in 25 houses.We really enjoy the layout of the house and the porches. Of course the location gives you a view of the beauty of Cloudcroft and a love for the wildlife the surrounding forest protects. Norman is excellent and responded quickly to help us in enjoying our stay."

"My friend and I spent our spring break here and loved our stay! Pat and Carmen were lovely hosts who ensured we were well taken care of throughout the entirety of our trip. Their property is truly magical! We made sure to stay put for a day so we could enjoy the many cozy spots outside. "We went to ski, and it was so easy to get to the lift. The house was as described, and Julie was always available to answer questions. We need a bigger place next year, or I would book again right now. The pots and pans were the best I have ever seen in a rental. I highly recommend this property."

"We had a wonderful time in the "Chalet". The cabin was quite roomy, especially so in the bedrooms (2 master bedrooms!) and the great room. The views from the porch were spectacular, particular watching the sunrise every morning over the mountains across the valley. Our host was both quite thoughtful in her concern that we have all we needed and quite prompt in answering any question we had. We were mightily impressed and hope to return here next summer! "

"Great home with a great view! About a 5 minute drive from the main ski base. House was clean and in great condition. Firewood was stocked, and there were plenty of basics for our stay (pots and pans, utensils, linens, soap, trash bags, etc.). Would stay here again!!"

"Donald’s cabin is in a gorgeous location that offers privacy and a little seclusion. Incredibly clean and well stocked cabin and the fantastic beds will make it hard to get yourself out and about because they are so comfortable. Views are amazing and the outdoor sitting area is stocked for roasting smores and enjoying each others company. This place is so amazing that the hardest part was going off to enjoy the sights and activities of Ruidoso because this cabin will make you want to stay in!"

"I was a little nervous to rent someone else’s home at first. They made this entire process as smooth as possible. I knew what to expect from the beginning. This property is as gorgeous as the pictures. They had lots of amenities to make this experience very family oriented. "This place is exceptional. The deck was amazing! We enjoyed sitting out by the firepit enjoying the beautiful evenings while we grilled out dinner! They have added so many extra touches. There was a welcome basket of goodies and homemade cinnamon rolls in the fridge for us. There are even bird feeders hanging in the trees! Highly recommend!!"

"Even better located than some ski in / ski out. Perfect location for a group or family, as people can pop in for ski breaks without having to coordinate the group. Hot tub worked great. "The property itself was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room in this house for us all to move around and have our own space.
