"Great but varied service by staff. I was not allowed an early check in, although others that arrived later than me were. Next the women of the morning shift saud no to an hour later check out next day, the young men at the evening staff had no problems allowing me that one hour extension. "

"It was a pure pleasure to stay at Ovolo Woolloomooloo. The service was fantastic. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. All the small quirks were great. Breakfast perfect. Location good - next to the botanic gardens, and a short walk to The Rocks, ferries, Opera House. Highly recommend a stay."

Men lige som man tror at alting er helt perfekt kommer man til at spørge receptionen om en restaurant anbefaling og de lover at undersøge og vende tilbage. Og det gør de så ikke ! Når man så går i receptionen igen for at stille samme spørgsmål så siger de det samme - og vender igen ikke tilbage. Virkelig ærgerligt nu når alt eller var sku godt. "We had a lovely stay at the strand; the staff were so friendly and inviting and it was so close to the city without being overly busy. When we unexpectedly had to stay an additional night after our flight home was cancelled, they looked after us very well again and made us feel welcome our entire stay. We will definitely return to this establishment, loved it!!"

We chose it over the Pullman, which is just across the road, but I wish we hadn't, because the austere exterior of the Stellar tells the whole story: functional and without excitement. The room (king bed) was large and had a kitchenette, but no bath tub, a tiny flatscreen tv and no amenities whatsoever make this hotel a three star - I don't see how they would even consider four stars....

"There was coming so much noise from inside the hotel, don’t know what is was but sounded like they were building something or throwing around with furniture.
The aircondition could only make the roomer colder, so it was freezing inside. When I tried to turn the machine off for a few hours to make the room more warm, water flooded from the machine onto the floor. The bathroom was nice.
It was very hard to hear the people from the reception as you have to check in and out of the hotel through a screen"
