I requested an early check in at 10:30am which I understand is not guaranteed. I was told the rooms were getting cleaned and staff would see what they could do. I didn’t hear any updates from anyone all day which I figured early check in wouldn’t be possible. Staff actually seemed to avoid me in the lobby which made it a little awkward. At 3:55pm I walked up to the counter again to ask if we would be getting a room soon. The gentleman at the front desk said he would call and check if any rooms are available. Again, no communication as to what was going on. At 4:07pm I walked up again to the front desk and asked to get any room at that point. The gentleman rudely responded “check in is at 4pm” which I reminded him it was 4:07pm at this point and he again rudely responded “I was coming to get you.” We finally got keys to our room which was not a high floor room like I had booked. But since we were tired from our trip I didn’t say anything. When we got to the room we quickly realized that the room was already occupied with guests. I was mortified. We went back down to the lobby to get things straightened out. The manager, Brianna, was kind enough to hear me out and why I was frustrated. She offered us an $80 credit which we appreciated. Not a good experience overall. Sadly, I wouldn’t book with this hotel again.
