"We had a flight cancelation and with many others were forced to stay a few extra days in San Juan. Many hotels were sold out and some were $450+ per night. We felt so fortunate to find a room at Ayana. Simple but updated furnishings. Clean. Excellent air conditioning. King size bed. Fridge well.stocked with various beverages for purchase. "Great accommodations with secure lodging, parking, and easy access to tour San Juan. The room was clean, spacious, and well stocked for my short stay. I did message the owner with questions during my stay and never received a response, but otherwise everything was perfect!"

"Overall a nice and well located Inn in SanJuan. They should change the AC system and place somewhere else out of bad side (too noisy)! Also you will get a lot of ligth in your room... Sleeping could be a challenge."

The area was dubious when we arrived as the building next door was in need of repair. The shower was very weak which was a shame. Nice to have a fridge of water. "

"What the website advertised and what we got were two completely different things, it states there was a spa and showed pictures of a beautiful spa setting which was a big reason as to why we stayed there but really there is no spa. The spa is a whole different business and we would have to pay to use it. There are no shower curtains therefore you bathroom ends up completely flooded, fall risk needles to say the breakfast was one maybe a young child would eat, the walls are thin so you can hear...

If you want beach access, including for kite boarding, and a small/boutique type hotel rather than the big and touristy and expensive mainstream hotels, this is the place. But, the hotel is on very busy street, lots of vehicular noise, trucks, gasoline tankers, human voices, etc. Our room was very spacious but faced the street so not ideal for a light sleeper. Stairs are very noisy, voices echo loudly, especially in the middle of the night. A big group of women next door were obnoxiously loud especially from midnight...
