"Clean and basic accommodation near the airport. Not much around, but good for an early flight. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. "

"Really nice hotel. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and nice clean rooms. The owner of the hotel is named Fred, and he is incredibly kind. He is very accommodating and showed us around the area. The hotel is within walking distance from the center, which is perfect, as it allows you to avoid the noise from the city. An ideal place if you need some relaxing days between Kilimanjaro and safari. A big and warm recommendation. Regards, Emil and Amalie."

I spent several days at Ilboru Safari Lodge at the beginning of my Tanzanian adventure, and it was a lovely introduction to the country. The lodge has a cozy, quaint atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful pool area. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoons relaxing by the pool, reading, writing and enjoying a glass of wine. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long journey and ease into the rhythm of Tanzania. One of...

"We paid approx. $115 for 1 night which was way too much for this place. The staff is really nice but the room was not. Room smelt moldy and the carpet was really dirty.. A small dark room. Furthermore the location is in the middle of nowhere. Very bumpy road to get there. We had to push the car at one point. A landrover would do the job though.. Comparing with other great hotels we stayed at this was by far the worst (we also stayed at Z Hotel in Nungwi, Coffee House in Stone Town and...
