"We paid approx. $115 for 1 night which was way too much for this place.
The staff is really nice but the room was not.
Room smelt moldy and the carpet was really dirty.. A small dark room.
Furthermore the location is in the middle of nowhere. Very bumpy road to get there. We had to push the car at one point. A landrover would do the job though..
Comparing with other great hotels we stayed at this was by far the worst (we also stayed at Z Hotel in Nungwi, Coffee House in Stone Town and...

"I stayed here on three separate nights and enjoyed my stay. The front desk was helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport, were extremely friendly and welcoming! The property grounds are well-maintained and the restaurant has vegetarian options as well. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tanzania!"

Everywhere you looked there were small things, e.g. the tablecloths in the restaurant had stains on them, and when the pizza I ordered had hair in it the waiter just raised his shoulders.
We went out to explore the town, and when we came back the door to our room was wide open and no one around (I assume it didnt close...

Only issue is hot water some times did work and wifi was super spotty working only 10% of time if you can connect. "

When we arrived and wanted to go to sleep the first night, we discovered that the bedsheets were not only dirty, but filthy and had to be changed.
Everywhere you looked there were small things, e.g. the tablecloths in the restaurant had stains on them, and when the pizza I ordered had hair in it the waiter just raised his shoulders.
We went out to explore the town, and when we came back the door to our room was wide open and no one around (I assume it didnt close properly when the room was cleaned). Luckily we were on the top floor and at the end of the hallway so nothing was missing.
It also took 30 minutes in the reception and 6 different wifi codes to get the wifi working.
If I am to find a positive thing then the laundry service worked and was on time and the aircondition works. "
