Christmas Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to get in the house early but due to traveling we arrived a couple hours prior. The house was huge, needs some updates and there were some mold in upstairs bathrooms. Definitely can use paint on doors and trim. Overall family had a great time. Great location. Couldn’t utilize the outside grill/ bar area that needs updating but hot tub was a hit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our whole family of 20 plus 2 toddlers. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and common space. This was our 3rd gathering, we enjoy the house. It is not modern, but clean and well stocked with pot, pans, dishes, bowls.... Beach Realty is very responsive to any mechanical problems.

Reviewer Comments: The house had several issues that were reported but nothing was done 3 fire alarm were inoperative reported but nothing was done several roaches every morning were spotted and killed by us floor going into a bedroom wood floor was raised about 1/2 in toe stubble for one guest I would not give this house any good reviews except for location George

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I definitely would consider staying here again! We loved the space and amenities and how every bedroom has its own bathroom.. BUT there are some areas that need to be attended to.During our stay we noticed the property had difficulty cooling different spaces of the house (would recommend looking at the A/C units and return filters and door seals). We also had an instance where the fire alarms went off suddenly during a rain storm, which was followed by a water leak that was dripping from the kitchen ceiling (noticed a wet spot on the floor in the Bedroom 3 closet due to this). But the most disappointing aspect of the stay was the cleanliness. During our stay we found alcohol and drug paraphernalia left from previous attendants. Found empty liquor bottles under the dresser in the "kids" room and found a weed vape pen in the couch cushions. In this Covid era we're in, this is unacceptable and luckily I discovered it before my 3 year old.All in all, I would absolutely recommend this house! (just need to address those major issues)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has a plenty of room, so is great for a large extended family. It is rather old and does need some work. The carpet in the bedrooms is very old, worn and looks dirty. The instructions for using the elevator are outdated and incorrect. There is no key. The rental agency was very responsive A young man came and got it working and showed us what to do. Also, he logged into the account for the TV as it wasn't working. The kitchen is not very well-stocked if you want to do a lot of cooking. Not enough pots and pans.

Great long weekend!

The house was perfect size for this group. The elevator was great and very much needed with some of the family members. The only issue we had was running out of hot water for showers. We learned quickly to spread them out and let hot water heater catch up. We would definitely stay here again!

Love This Home!

We enjoyed many a night in the hot tub after a relaxing day at the beach. Since our family is large, having a bathroom in each room made our stay so relaxing. The elevator also was a huge plus for our elderly relatives. We will definitely stay here again for many years to come.

Awesome layout and view of the beach from inside the home. Only “negatives”: water pressure (specifically 3rd floor... to be a bit expected I’m sure), length of time the water stayed hot, some of the beds were hard even with the mattress toppers, TV options were super limited- not a huge deal, but makes the evenings a little difficult with the kids.

Great Stay at Seascape

Reviewer Comments: Seascape is a wonderful house close to the pier with plenty of room for a large extended family to spread out and have their own was nice to have a lifeguard nearby for the littlest beachgoers. Great grill area and also has 2 refrigerators - 2 things that would have been helpful to know before arrival. Brought a baby pool for under the house for the littles - worked out great! Only complaint was the noisy trash trucks every morning at 4:30am and 6:00am waking up those in rooms on the streetside. Overall a great house, in a great location. Would rent again.

Reviewer Comments: Seascape is a really terrific house, beautifully located, spacious and comfortable, well equipped, with efficient a/c/ The rent is understandably expensive and maintenance can be slow, but we're grateful for this outstandingly fine stay.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in a great location and is very spacious. The new grill was great!The house does need some updating. The stove did not work properly, the dryer on the main level did not work and we also had issues with the dishwasher. We called 3 times to have trash cans delivered and received them after we were there for 3 days. With 24 people there is a lot of trash. We also called about the dryer, but no one ever came to repair it. The sliding glass door in the living room is hard to open and close. We had to keep it locked so there would not be any issues.

Reviewer Comments: This year was our ninth year staying at this property (we rented this through two other realty companies before renting it through Garden City Realty). It is a GREAT house for the size of our family, and the location is fantastic. The only thing missing in this house is an ice maker. You will not find a better realty company or staff than at Garden City! Even with Hurricane Matthew deciding to visit us this year, we had a FABULOUS vacation. Looking forward to 2017.
