"Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

"I booked a twin room and was given a queen bed. So I cancelled the booking as it was not suitable"

"Cessnock er en lille by midt i Hunter Valley vinområdet. Her er indkøbsmuligheder og nogle spisesteder. Hotellet er non-standard: møblement fra 70'erne i spøjse farvekombinationer, men trods alderen ikke slidt. Man laver selv sin morgenmad, fx yoghurt, brød, ost, kaffe. Der er fælles opholdsrum så hotellet virker hostel-agtigt. Ret hyggeligt."
