"The owners are kind and gracious hosts. My trip was more spontaneous, and they did an incredible job in helping me put together a wonderful visit to Tongariro. The bed and bedding are excellent. The cedar hot tub is wonderful after a long day out. Most of all, the peace and quiet was great."

"Amazing place to stay for our large family of 8 adults and 4 children aged 10 - 14. Plenty of space for us all to spread out yet be together. Warm and cosy on rainy days and cold fine days and everything we needed was there. Yes I agree better than the photos"

HIGHLY recommend the Koala experience, the Ultimate Penfold's Experience, and the RM Williams Experience (was unexpectedly AWESOME!!). Food was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. "My family of 5 stayed here for 4 days during our snowboarding trip. We had a lot of gear and this place served as an excellent base. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space. Only a 15 minutes drive from Whakapapa so we were able to secure a good car park every morning. It was a comfortable stay and we'll definitely be looking to stay here again for our next trip. "

"Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations of which walks best fit our desires for waterfalls and general fitness. All in all, a terrific experience, and we'll definitely be back!"
