"Loved everything about this place! Beautiful peaceful setting, cosy interior with great attention to detail - all while being off the grid. We stayed in winter and the little fire did a great job of heating up the space. We enjoyed the outdoor bath at night, and the bed was super comfy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with a bit of character. Communication with thehost was very good and we had complete privacy during our stay but I am sure help would have been at hand if...

Rocky Mountain Chalets
Rocky Mountain ChaletsOhakune
10/10 Fremragende
Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations...
