"We stayed here 2 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. For starters, Aaron is the best host - he’s kind and offered insight and printed maps for us with highlights of where to go and when for Acadia. When I say friendly, it’s an understatement. And anything you need - they will do what they can to accommodate. The cabins are perfect, comfortable beds and conveniently located. I can’t say enough good things. Will absolutely stay again when we’re back in the area"

"Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!"

"We enjoyed our week at this well appointed cabin with a beautiful lake view from the comfortable deck. The kitchen and living space made preparing meals and relaxing a pleasure. Convenient to Acadia National Park and other parts of Mt. Desert Island, this is a good spot for a rejuvenating vacation in nature, but close enough to all amenities and services, including an easy ride to Bar Harbor."

"This cozy cabin is exactly as pictured and described. While we no longer have young children, it would be wonderful place to stay if you did. Additionally, it feels isolated in the woods, and yet you are only 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor, carriage trails, and all the other attractions! We loved, loved, loved this cabin, and we hope to return next year despite the 18 hour drive to get to it! "

"This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. "Our family has such a great time staying in this cottage. It was so clean, plenty of room for our family of 5, well stocked with wood for camp fire, etc. It is perfectly quiet, and you are on a short road, off a cup-de-sac - so I never felt isolated (which I don’t enjoy!). But don’t worry about noise from others - we never even heard/saw another car drive by. I would absolutely stay here again! "

"If you’re looking for rustic, romantic, relaxing —— this place is perfect! We were very comfortable and enjoyed this place immensely. It’s not pristine and the bed could be better, but it was a reasonable tradeoff for a wonderful view, great fireplace, cozy furnishings, and total privacy."

"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. "We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves.
