"Super cute place! Excellent location for Acadia National Park. Peaceful, A/C, laundry, cute little kitchen care pack (an old review said there was nothing to wash dishes with- that no longer is the case, we were provided dish soap and a sponge) and a bathroom care pack with shampoo, conditioner, laundry, and soap/body wash. It was pricy but that’s expected during peak travel times and we booked pretty late in the year. Grateful to have found this gem and highly recommend. "

"We loved the cabin and the location. We enjoyed the deer, turkeys and birds who visited. So easy to access Acadia park and downtown Bar Harbor. A short and pretty walk over to the seawall and picnic area. We were very glad we chose SW Harbor as it was really the quiet side. The Harbor Table and Peter Trout’s Tavern are great spots for dinner or lunch. "

"Loved Everything! Nothing like hiking right into Acadia from the back yard. Kids loved the loft and the sofa couch. We were also very pleasantly surprised when we learned they had an EV car charger we could use.We hope to come again, but maybe for 2 weeks next time, one week is just not enough time."

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"This cabin was great for our family trip; we had 9 adults and 1 infant with more than enough room. Our host were great and communication as easy & fast response. I don’t think you can find a better place for the money in Bar Harbor. I am giving a brief cabin layout description because if you are like me you like to have the bedrooms assigned before you arrive. Even as adults’ children still complain about the room they get. Ugg! "This cabin is awesome!!! Be sure to book it if you’re traveling to Mount Desert Island. It is close to the park and other “must sees”but away from the crowds. The setting is more spectacular than the photos show. The cabin is clean and well equipped. Alex is an awesome host. Attentive and communicative. It was our first time to the island, and we had an awesome experience. "
