"We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1."

"We enjoyed our time as a family in the roomy artistically pleasant home with all amenities necessary were available. The only complaint came from our adult children who slept in the secondary rooms. They said their beds were uncomfortable and they were unable to get a good nights sleep. We did not have that experience in The master bedroom.. We slept well.overall a very nice experience."

"Stated here for new years and enjoyed it very much. Was a great way to disconnect with family. Spent some time fishing. Had one hiccup with the autolock not working and being locked out of the house but they responded promptly and got us in the house."

"We had my daughter's wedding ceremony at Rainier Estates Sept 3! Deepa was so gracious to allow the 19 of us to enjoy this special day for our daughter and her new husband! My immediate family stayed at this Place while the others found suitable places nearby. The backdrop of the mountain was perfect for the outdoor ceremony. "My family stayed over Thanksgiving break. There was a window of fantastic weather with clear skies. We would start the day with coffee on the porch, watching the ducks play in the lake. Then we daytripped to Portland to hike. We drove up towards the mountains for breathtaking views of Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens. Then we would come back and cuddle up by the fireplace. Kara's home feels just like that - home. We would love to go back there next winter, or even during the summer to enjoy the lake....

"This property is a "10" for sure! The house was everything it advertised. The host even left us a wonderful welcome basket with coffee and some treats! I would definitely choose this house again!!"
