"Super nice area just outside of downtown Charleston in a charming traditional neighborhood. Nice staff, beautiful room and balcony. Restaurant downstairs was a bonus. I didn't get to take advantage of the nearby pool as it was too cold. I'd love to stay here again."

"We really liked this place. We arrived earlier than check-in time but got the room when arriving. We were welcomed by a very sweet and smiling staff member who also gave us a great introduction to the city, were to go and what to see. The place is perfectly located in walking distance to downtown. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was good. Our room was beautiful in antique stile but a little worn. "We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I...
