"This was an oasis for 5 nights after a terrible road journey. (Ghana's main roads are currently in a terrible state). We loved everything about the hotel - staff, food, location and a great pool. Thank you! "

"We stayed there two nights. First night the aircondition was not working, and they where unable to find us a room with one working. Next night we stayed in a much smaller (and cheaper listed ) room with an Air-conditioning that barely was working (27°c probably). On checkout we asked to get back the difference in price for the last nights room, but got a no as an answer. Not acceptable."

"Dejligt sted"

"Room isn’t cleaned unless you ask them to, bit nobody tells you that when you check in. Even hanging the sign asking the maid to clean the room didnt work. I still came back 8 hours later to an uncleaned room. At buffet breakfast there were flies everywhere. This could have easily been solved with mosquito coils bit I only got glaring looks when I suggested it. "

"Ridge Royal was a very nice and luxurious experience. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The staff where very friendly and extremely helpful whenever I needed something or had questions. The only minus was the extremely hard pillows, but I guess that’s normal in Ghana since they’ve been like that all the places I stayed there ;) The hotel is close to the city and it’s easy to go to all the attractions from there. I rented a taxi for half a day and went to first Kakum, and then the...

"We had a nice stay, with fulfilled our demands. Staff was polite and friendly. Only small disappointment was the breakfast on the last day. The first two days, the selection was okay, unfortunately the last day the selection was not good. "

"Situated 4 km outside the town of Elmina right by the Sea this is a very good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and can help arrange transport aot. There is a nice restaurant and pool on site. Elmina castle and the charming city of Elmina is close. "
