"The,Royal Oak is an old Hotel. So things need a little updating. However our room had everything posh hotels have. Beds very comfortable. Lovely white clean towels and bedding. Tea & coffee making facilities etc. We had pur evening meal in the their restaurant and it was very nice. The breakfast was all locally sourced and off a really good quality. The staff were very friendly and polite. We need to support our independent Hotels."

"We were in Wales when the weather was really good and then Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa is magnificent. Absolute stunning view to the lake from the room and from the restaurant. The sunset is top top top. Really nice ambience and good possibilities to go for a walk and to cycle around Lake Vyrnwy. Can only recommend !!!!"

" We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. "Gorgeous food from the large breakfast offering (there is everything you could ever want for breakfast!!!) the food in Palm Court was outstanding and the staff looked after us so well, we also loved the piano player- added something special to the evening.
