"We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."

"The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. "We stayed here from 5/17/24 - 5/22/24. We were 8 adults total. The house is very nice. It was very warm when we first arrived. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We found out quickly if you open the bedroom doors it helps to cool the rest of the house. The house was well equipped with kitchen items and we were able to cook a few meals. "We had a group of 10 people traveling to La Fortuna in late April. This property is the absolute best of both worlds. The house has one master suite with a spacious bath on the top floor with views of the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The second floor has three bedrooms with a shared bath. "We certainly enjoyed our stay! We had quite a bit of mis-communication with the host as well as no hot water for the first day we were there (propane tank had run out). The tiny ants all over the kitchen are probably par for the course in such a climate - I would have like a can of bug spray available. "Stor lækker lejlighed med eget køkken. Der var masser af plads til vores familie på 5. Super god service ved tjek-in. Eneste minus er, at den er placeret inde på den spanske sprogskole i Monteverde. Når sprogskolen lukker kl 17, så er man de eneste tilbage, hvilket jeg personligt ikke var så vild med. Det føles lidt isoleret da lejligheden er placeret helt nede i bunden af området. Men det er nok smag og behag..."
