"This was the perfect peaceful weekend! The Chicken Coop faces east for gorgeous sunrises and I enjoyed my coffee outside with the hens wandering by every day. Equipped with a mini kitchen, I was able to have simple meals with the food I brought and didn’t need to go out. I walked around the farm a bit each day and just enjoyed the slower pace. I loved that so much of the area is untouched by developers who think destroying nature is what everyone wants. The cottage is very nice. The dogs are fun. The property is conveniently located between Trout Creek and Thompson Falls. And if we needed anything to help support our stay, our hosts were happy to assist. "My family just enjoyed a weeklong stay, and although this is a wonderful rental, the listing is very misleading. 1. Air-conditioning is listed as an amenity, which this house does NOT have. And not all of the windows have screens. After we booked thru VRBO, we got a confirmation directly from Vacasa which warned that there was only a small window unit, but that wasn't installed prior to our stay either.
