The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. While I LOVED it the first time, Clay has done some renovations on the whole property, inside and out of the villa structure, including adding 3-ish stunning acres of Nebbiolo vines, and one of my friends said, "Every inch of this place is so well-thought out and perfect!" "We were there for 5 days to experience the Wine and Food of the Alba / Langhe region. Giulio was a great host and was very informative of the area with good suggestions for restaurants and other activities. It was a hot week while we were there and the pool was a delight. The views from the house were wonderful and the place was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the region and would recommend to our friends."

"My husband suggested we go to Italy to celebrate my birthday and take the whole family. One of the first things I did was secure the dates of June 30 until July 14 2025 at a VRBO in the Alba Italy vicinity, Casa Gianni in Roddi. Casa Gianni is a tribute to our host’s father who built the house when our host was 10 years old. After his father’s untimely passing, our host lovingly restored the house to share with others. "Very nice and newly renovated hotel. Decent size room with a very comfortable bed. Very clean. Excellent central location and fine nearby parking. "

"Et slidt hotel mødte os (4*???) Receptionist uengageret og lettere irriteret over vores behov for 3. opredning, som nu var gjort klar på sofaseng. De kunne ikke nå andet. Men der var lagt lagen på - dyne, pude og rest sengetøj manglede i denne gamle udslidte sovesofa. To gange måtte vi ned i reception for at vi kunne gøre vores datters seng klar. Til sidst sagde receptionist at der ikke var flere dyner, så fik et ekstra lagen. Men næste morgen så vi rum med sengetøj - og det var masser. Hotellet langt fra udsolgt - så bare dårlig service fra doven receptionist/løgn - ville ikke lette måsen fra den stol hun sad tungt på - uengageret og meget lidt serviceminded. Ved morgenmad oplevede vi samme mangel på service. Kom ned kl 8.45 med tomme fade og juice beholdere. Og de blev ikke fyldt op selvom morgenmad var til kl 10. Personale havde travlt med at sætte nyvasket service på plads og dække op til næste gæster - og dem var der ikke mange af. Det blev fejet flittigt i lobby/bar område og på alle måder blev der gjort rent og ikke fokus på hygge for gæster - rengøring var 1. prioritet. Det til trods for, at alt så trist og slidt ud. 4 stjerner er en pæn overdrivelse. Det var en føntørre på det lille bad m skabskabine af brusebad. Nej - ikke nogen god oplevelse."

"Fint hotel til overnatning. Vi ville gerne have bilen i den aflåste parkeringskælder. Nedkørslen til p-kælder er ikke egnet for lave biler. Vores er en C Mercedes (fyldt feriebil) og vi fik et ordentligt skrab af bunden af bilen. Vi tømte bilen i kælderen og kørte den forsigtigt op på gaden. Det gik fint. Holdt på gaden ud for hotellet i stedet for. Meget fint stort værelse, god seng. Spiste i restauranten, hvilket også var en god oplevelse. "
