"This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. It is tiny, with not much storage or countertop space. the marble sink is old and very small. It was a struggle cooking in there. There are 2 tiny, college size refrigerators that were challenging to fit all of our food and wine in. The bathrooms are rustic and the...

"As in all prior reviews, a "10" from us. The house is a modern design, fully equipped, with great view over old Alba. We didn't use the pool, but it is large and always clean. Easy walk into Centro; we also found parking when we drove into town. Best part was our host. Always accessible. As an example. we had a problem with our car one day, and he volunteered to go with us to a mechanic and help us out. We've stayed in a number of VRBO's. This was at the top. Highly recommended. "

"I am not one who typically writes reviews but I really couldn't have asked for a better home to spend a few nights in Piemonte. The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. The house felt like a home and we only wish it wasn't November and we could have spent more time relaxing by the pool. Can't wait to come back. Miss it already."

"Our group of 6 adults stayed at the villa for 5 days while exploring the surrounding wine region and relaxing after a wedding. The villa was amazing. There was plenty of space for all guests, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and perfectly manicured lawn and pool area. Marco, Lonela and Christian were great to work with and so friendly, especially through our language barriers. Monforte was a perfect location with great restaurants and so many nearby wineries - go visit Giovanni! I cannot...

"Die Aussicht ist super! Leider gibt es dort nicht so viel für die Kinder. Es gibt da leider auch keine Klimaanlage oder Ventilatoren. Dafür aber sehr viele Moskitos. Die Gastgeberin Ist super nett und hilfsbereit."

"It was a pleasure to stay in Villa Barbara. Everything was clean and place was quiet and looked like brand new. Special kudos to all of the complimentary food - cake, eggs, milk, wine, water, bread, cheese, salami, hazel nuts - everything we needed for the breakfast for couple of days. "We waren in Ciglie om een weekje te fietsen en hebben het erg goed gehad in Villa Elma. Ciglie is een schitterend dorpje, met niet veel meer dan een kerk, een kasteel en een restaurant. En vooral heel veel prachtige uitzichten. Alles in het huis is netjes afgewerkt en van goede kwaliteit. Recente badkamer met gescheiden douche en bad, al is de douche een beetje klein.
