She upgraded us to a suite for an additional charge, which was fine, but she also added valet parking and never clearly explained that it was $45 per day. "My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Mauian, even though it was just one night. Very kind and helpful staff and speedy check-in. The overall property is relatively small, and you feel like you have your own little beach condo instead of a hotel room. I loved being able to walk right into the room from the garden area. Lovely location on Napili Bay, where you can enjoy the nice calm water and good sunsets. Also Sea House is just 3 minutes away down the beach, awesome restaurant with...

"Beautiful place! Beautiful view (ocean side). Be aware that "partial view" of the ocean is pretty partial as buildings are between you and the beach, but you have a nice pie slice of ocean and a great view of sunsets over Molokai. Grounds are lovely and the pool is clean. Island Vibes Cafe next door is a treasure. Enjoy your visit!"

"The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...
