"We had three adults and were very comfortable. Short walk to main shopping area. Quiet location at night. Sliding door was a little temperamental and sides steps posed a challenge with large baggage but otherwise a lovely apartment. "

"It was as described in listing. Maryanne and Karl were very sweet and helpful. The mattress needs to be replaced as it left me very sore in the morning. A lot of tossing and turning too. Otherwise a good location. "

"The place was great, very clean, everything it said it would have. No issues getting in. Only complaint is that the door into the main place from the hallway is shared and paper thin. It sits about a half an inch off the floor so lights, voices, everything filters in from the hallway. That being said, there weren't a lot of times that people went in and out, so in the end it doesn't affect you much. "

"We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite...

"This is a great area down by the lake, very peaceful. The boathouse has everything you'd need and is super comfy. Sarah is friendly and instantly responsive to any questions. 100% would stay again. Very pleasant."

"We had a wonderful time sitting outside watching the birds, People, fishermen and dogs. Such a beautiful location with a walkway around the lake that you could easier walk to the small downtown. Grocery, drugstore, restaurants were within walking distance. Everyone was friendly. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast and had everything you would need to cook. It was great to be able to wash your clothes and put the drying rack outside. Close to so many things that it was the perfect place...
