It is located only around 3km south from the Pyramids of giza wich gives it a nice location to also visit Saqgara. You also don't get as much noise at night as you would do within either Cairo or further towards Giza."

For anyone going to Giza, Mazar was an exceptional, albeit short stay. The staff were some of the most pleasant, and helpful people I met in Egypt.
We only got a basic room, but even then came at a very nice quality for the price.

"Had such a great stay at Rixos! Our favorite was the morning breakfasts on the roof, with our wonderful server Cucú (Kookoo) who would make it such a great experience.
