Great beach getaway

We really enjoyed our time. The place was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and clean. The pool was heated and the beach was right there for us to get on and off. The location overall was perfect for getting around.

Wonderful week in Sandestin!

This condo was just as pictured although the photos of the pool area don’t do it justice. The grounds were just as nice as the inside. Clean, updated, beautiful view, great location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed. Beach chairs and umbrella in the unit. Beach was great and not at all crowded. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and 30A. We had a wonderful week with our two teen daughters. Highly recommend!

Great Condo!

The condo was clean and very spacious. Nicely stocked kitchen. Great view of the beach and gulf. We had beautiful weather and the gulf was crystal clear. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

Gorgeous surroundings!

Our family loved our stay at Westwinds in Sandestin! Some friends recommended this condo to us, and we were extremely pleased with the property. This unit overlooked the aquamarine-colored water and white beach. The unit was spacious, very nicely appointed, and inviting. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The pool, beach access, and parking were all convenient. We would definitely return to this unit again.

The views are spectacular from the bedrooms and living room. If I had to report a negative, it would be while enjoying the balcony it is not very private, as you are in close proximity to your neighbors. However, for us this is not a deal breaker as most of our time spent on the balcony was mostly while others were asleep. The decor, comfort, spaciousness, the views, and cleanliness of this condo more than make up for the balcony not being as private as we would have preferred. The management staff was professional, friendly, helpful, and exhibited a genuine concern that we enjoy our stay. We will definitely visit again.

Great Condo

The condo was very nice. Modern feel / look very well kept and clean. Plenty of space. Pool area was nice and heated. Westwinds is one of the nicer “Beachfront” buildings. Only issue I had was that I was given wrong or expired codes for parking gate and entrance to the building (by the rental management company) took 3 phone calls to get the correct codes. Other than that would definitely book there again.

Great Location, great place for a getaway.

Beautiful location steps from the beach. Unit had everything we needed. Pool area was clean and nice and had a great little spot for a hot lunch or cold drink. A few hundred yards down the beach was a great little restaurant for lunch or dinner. Beach and ocean were wonderful, white sand with turquoise water. Would definitely go back. Only issue was with check-in. Door code was wrong in our welcome email which caused a little headache but once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A simple but well decorated rental for a get-a-way at Sandestin. Unit was clean, beds comfortable and everything worked as it should. The only item that could have been updated was a very old coffee maker. That said, a Keurig is present (naturally you provide your own coffee) so you're still in business. View from balcony was pleasant and there were a few beach chairs and children toys in washer/dryer closet as well. A nice unit and made for an enjoyable stay. Would certainly stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: It was a clean place , great location but oven was broken .. we have a lot of food and desserts to bake but we have to go to another condo to use .. it was embarrassing. Would I come back no because even the maintenance guys couldn’t fix it because it was digital . Our master bedroom light switch didn’t even work or they didn’t put battery in the light switch . So imaging for 3 days without lights and a broken oven .. something should be compensated for our 3 nights stay .. only thing we like was the location and this place was clean

The condo was just okay. We had 5 people so the couch bed had to be used. We got in super late due to flight delays. Upon arrival, we realized there was no water and no pillows or blankets for the couch bed (just a sheet set). We were able to call and get the water turned on within 15 mins so that turned out just fine. We called housekeeping for the bedding but was told we wouldn’t get it until the next day. It ended up being late in the afternoon the next day. The master shower wasn’t very clean…it’s tiled and the grout had mold on it. There is no shelf or ledge or seat, so we had to sit our shampoo, conditioner, soup, and razor on the ground. That also made it difficult to shave. The had the bare basics but no spices at all (all my other stays at other places have had them) including salt/pepper. The location was nice. A very low key place. The view from the condo was great. The pool and beach access was great. Overall the stay was just average. I probably wouldn’t book that one again, but I also would not discourage someone else from booking it because it wasn’t bad.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While Westwinds is a great condominium complex with it's location on the beach, amenities, nice pool area, this particular unit was very disappointing.There was construction occurring directly across from our balcony at the condominium next door. It was very loud and made it unenjoyable to sit on the balcony. There was no warning on the condo listing and when I called as soon as we arrived and noticed, My Vacation Haven did noting to amend. This unit was dirty and did not have basics in the kitchen. There was mildew in both bathrooms , and stains on the couch. I texted pictures with no response. The kitchen did not have very basic items needed, cookie sheet, scissors, blender. The guest bedroom mattresses were very uncomfortable. The drawer of the oven was knocked off when we arrived as well.The rate that was charged for this condo did not reflect the condition. For the money, I would expect much more as far as cleanliness, kitchen basics. I texted pictures of these issues when I arrived and on checkout and received no response. I would like to stay @ Westwinds again, but not in this unit and will not rent from this company.

It was an amazing location and an amazing stay!

We have stayed in several condos along Destin, and this was by far our favorite! Communication was fast and on point, the location and beach were perfect! We’ve already talked about booking this specific condo again for next year!!!

The condo is on the beach. It’s an easy walk to the water. The unit was very nice. Spacious. The pool was nice.
