"The staff was kind and helpful from arrival to check out. The spa was very peaceful and clean. The lobby bar stays open late on the weekends, which we found to be a great amenity. This hotel's location is great, as it is not far from several local gems, lots of food and activities. I would not recommend the breakfast at Ovide, the hotel's on-site restaurant, but that could be personal opinion (both my partner and I barely finished our meals, as the food was not bad but certainly not excellent....

"I wouldn’t recommend staying at the Bayside. The sheets and blankets felt super damp as if they were wet from all the humidity. I asked if there was a beachside room available and they upgraded me to the luau highly recommend the luau. It is way better and the pool is pretty big too. We stayed with a four month old and had issues with the shuttle from Beachside one between 9:45 PM to 11 PM. They didn’t show up for two days in a row. "Our condo was beautiful and we loved the close proximity to Baytowne Wharf. I only have two minor suggestions. The first would be to provide guests with the information ahead of time that the unit is located at The Grand Sandestin - our airport shuttle seemed to have a difficult time without this bit of information even though the address was provided. "The condo was spacious. The resort in very nice. We checked in at 4:30 pm and found a midge fly issue in the first-floor bathroom. The management company took care of it, but it did take 24 hours. Needless to say, we did not use that bathroom but while showing the exterminator the issue. I noticed a substance (looks like toothpaste) smeared between the door jam and the vanity.
