"My friends and I loved staying in this unique home in the countryside close to House on the Rocks and Taliesin. Its walls of glass doors allowed a wonderful view of the meadow and sunsets. "Great stay. Cozy, comfortable and beautiful. We kayaked 16 miles on the WI River Saturday to return home to your nature retreat. Grilled salmon for dinner and enjoyed music, wine and conversation by the fireplace. Thank you! "

"This home is so neat. Unique design. Beds were comfortable and very clean. Host had such a warm welcome note and dog treats for our Boxer, Ava. Will definately stay again. My In-Laws live nearby and this was a perfect location. We made great memories here. ❤️"

"What a terrific week! Home was incredibly well-equipped and cozy. We loved walking into town for drinks, dinner, & shopping. "The house itself was great and the beds were super comfortable to sleep in. The Wifi is the only way to get cell phone service and it kept going out where we had to reboot the router at least 4-5 times during our stay. The house is located on a huge hill top so the driveway was horrible to get up if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle. During our stay it rained over night hard and the drive way was washed out as it's gravel so getting out was difficult and took a lot of time and scraping on the...

"We booked with the Little Village for a weekend getaway and when we arrived, we were surprised at the small size of the room and especially the size of the extremely small bathroom. The property was clean, the beds comfortable and the towels were plush. The small bar of soap did not serve well for two showers. Two bars were needed. It would have been nice to have access to an ice machine with ice bucket as well as a listing of local restaurants."

"Fun stay in a historic building with very quiet neighborhood. Have never been to Mineral Point and found the area so charming and pleasant. We walked the downtown area in the evening and enjoyed the history of the town/buildings. Kitchen adequately stocked with utensils for home cooking. We could tell the owners are still working on some improvements but they have done enough to make it a comfortable and cozy stay. We hope to come again someday!"
