"A very attractive, well-equipped and clean cottage. It was perfect for us. We appreciated having an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs loo. The kitchen was well-equipped; it even had a teapot (rare these days). We enjoyed sitting in the garden. Although in the middle of a busy village it was very quiet. As we don’t drive we used public transport, but car owners would like the parking spot outside the house.Unfortunately we had an emergency at home which meant we weren’t both there all the time,...

"Fabulous stay in a great village location with private parking, right next door to the village pub. Check in was seamless and communications with the owners were faultless. We really enjoyed this cosy cottage and will be sure to book again if we find ourselves returning to the area."

Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent. "Had a lovely 2 night stay in granary cottage. Set in lovely private grounds. The cottage was very spacious, clean, eqipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful and very prompt with any request you may have. We would definitely stay there again!"

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too.
