"The cottage was just as described with the added bonus of a full kitchen albeit with out a dishwasher. The bagel toaster more than made up for that! We were here for a family wedding and it was great to come back to the lake for the peace and quiet!"

"The cottage was as depicted in the photos. It was very quaint and cozy, the exact feel we wanted for Vermont. Loved the location and walkability."

" We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied...

"A few days before arrival, we were sent an email containing instructions for the property. These instructions were addressed to another individual and dated 2021, which seems to be an indication of the last time the property had any attention. Arrival was fairly smooth, following the instruction sheet. The exterior of the house was somewhat worn, with sections of missing gutter, worn paint, and loose entry steps. Inside, both the garage and in the main living area were cluttered and dusty. It...

"We had an amazing stay! The property was absolutely awesome — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Everyone loved the home as well as the beautiful surrounding area, especially the hikes by the stream right nearby. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, which made everything even easier. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"
