"On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. "What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days."

"Warm comfortable bed and room on a cold Armidale night after a long drive. There was wonderful fire burning downstairs which radiated warmth throughout the guesthouse. A sunroom provided some lovely afternoon sun on arrival. Easy walk into town for an evening meal. Attention to the little details made this guesthouse a great experience."
