Mezotne Park

Very good value for money as a good location close to many nice places to eat and to the old town and train station. Not that well maintained with poor WiFi and a bit loud to the hallway but it works just fine.

En skøn lille lejlighed tæt på alt det man gerne vil se i Riga. Alt var i gå afstand. Et velfungerende lille køkken, med det man skal bruge (medbring dog selv et viskestykke😉). Da vi var der, var der en del regn om natten og det larmede rigtig meget da vores vinduer vendte ind til en lille gård med nogle “plastiktage”. Men derudover var alt super. Klar anbefaling.

We had room no 209 a junior suite. Nice dekoration a lot of space, nice bed but the pillows were too thick, I got pain in my neck. It would have been nice with an option. The Wi-Fi was very bad and the remote control to the tv did not work. The staff in the reception did not pay attention to you except from the young woman who was always smiling and said hello, but the other two young men did not pay any attention except from their mobile phones. The restaurant was only open for breakfast but in the description of the hotel it says it is open for lunch and dinner and serve traditional local food. It also says there is a bar …. You cannot call that a bar. The breakfast was okay, a lot of different food but only sliced white bread and dark bread. Poor selection. The buffet is in a corner in stead of in the middle of the room so people could have access from all sides. The coffee area could easily be moved to the sitting area in stead of people have to stand in queue in front of the door used for the staff. But the area around the hotel is nice and it is close to everything and the area is quiet. We did sleep good except for the pillows.
