"My stay at Aqua Lodges at Hurricane Hole Marina was not terrible, but it definitely was not what I expected. The location has potential and the area is nice, however, on the day we were leaving I noticed bed bugs in the room. After discovering them, I immediately contacted the host. They told me that their inspection did not show any evidence of bed bugs, but I sent them photos as proof and I am still waiting for a response or proper resolution. "A/C wasn’t working properly.. contacted our host who finally replied but well over an hour.. said he would send someone but was surprised it wasn’t working since he had someone prior to our stay.. not sure the A/C was ever working properly since they had 2 plug in blower fans (the kind you use to dry out flooded homes) on the boat..
