"Perfect place to stay for our first time visiting Salem. We were able to do a lot of walking since we were so close to Essex St. The house was nice and clean. Plenty of bathrooms, which was definitely a bonus. Loved that we didn't have to park on the street. We had absolutely no issues during our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone! "

"Facilities were very clean and the whole house was very comfortable and a great end to the day for the crew. They were doing a very large job, and being able to stay in the area and have a nice place was paramount. Thank you!!"

"Wonderful rustic summer cottage in the woods! One of the few really private wooded areas on PI and easy walking distance to town beaches. Reminds me of how the island used be decades ago -- nothing fancy but nicely appointed. A great collection of old books and travel guides. "

"Excellent location! Beautiful kitchen, new appliances. Very comfortable. Lots of stairs, which were a problem for my elderly mother. I would rent again."

"Great space with amenities needed for an overnight for our family. Clean with linens etc and even a library of books. Great communication by owner. Will visit again if in the area in the future. "

"A very talented person put this space together and utilized every inch of space. Everything you could need is provided. We arrived a day early to attended an event at the Wayside Inn. The location was perfect as we did some site seeing to Concord center, Kimball’s ice cream and Monument Park. "

"This was just the right size cottage and the location couldn’t have been better! We had a fairly easy drive up from the Logan International Airport, getting to downtown Newburyport was a breeze, and the little Plum Island store & restaurants were wonderful. The area around Sunny Side was quiet & peaceful. We would book it again!"

"Great location, pet friendly, comfy beds and pleasant hosts. The house is a great size and ready for a family with a dog. This was a good fit for us moving our daughter into college from out of state with our dog. The house is definitely older and has character, it just needs a lot of TLC. Older furniture, paint chipping, things missing, bathroom needs updating, and some older home quirks, especially with electric. If these things get updated, it would've been a 5 star review. We'd...

"The property was an ideal location for us to walk to town and to the family member’s house. The property was spacious and provided a quiet rest. The one thing I found lacking was a wash cloth. There was helpful information but not about the thermostat. "
