"I'm a big fan of the old school character and charm that this location delivers. It was a great stay. Enjoyed a couple beautiful sunsets and a nice campfire. Slept like a baby. I appreciated Andre's hospitality and sharing of a couple of his special stories. That's what its all about. Highly recommend."

"We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this property, the charm, and how well equipped it was. The beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area is great for a stroll since the neighborhood is quiet. Egg harbor is less than 10 min drive. Definitely bikable. The cottage is truly a gem. "

"We did a vacation with my family, first time not camping in Door County. We had 10 adults, this house accomadated us great. The location was perfect for us as we really utilize the state park. The back yard was very private and provided lots of space for us to play yard games, the woods next to the property is state park land, my husband was very much enjoying looking for morel mushrooms and ramps. He found a few morels and many ramps. There were a few issues with things like the refrigerator...

"A nice two bedroom cabin with a huge yard for our dogs to run. My only recommendation would be for more curtains on the windows. Especially for the bathroom. Would definitely stay there again in the future."

"This cottage was perfect for my sister and I. We had our own bedroom and the bathroom, kitchen and living room were great for our needs. Loved that we could walk to the downtown area, to the beach area, to the marina/bay and to Peninsula State Park. Emily was great with contacting us before our arrival and very responsive if we had a question during our stay. "

"Very relaxing 6 day stay. On the water. No beach. But clean, cozy and stocked with everything you would need and then some. Highly recommend."

"This property is perfect. We were 6 adults strong and had plenty of space for everyone. I have mobility issues and I found this home fit my needs: 1) only 2 steps to get in and 1 step to the back porch plus 2 mini-steps to the backyard ground. Easy peezy. 2) walk-in shower WITH a seat and bars for assistance; 3) no throw rugs to trip over! There is a slope in the middle of the backyard. Go slow. No biggie. We LOVED the pantry in the kitchen. How many times have you found little space allowed for...

"Beautiful home with so much to do for all ages, including extra nice touches such as kcups, firewood, etc. This host has thought of everything and makes it easy to feel at home. We played volleyball and horseshoes, kayaked and made s’mores by the fire. There were plenty of indoor games as well. My family had the best time and I highly recommend DeYoung Family Zoo. Coffee on the deck in the morning facing the water was a nice treat as well!"
