"This place was incredible from every perspective. First of all Jose and his wife were generous, kind and thoughtful from booking right to meeting us (late at night) at the house and showing us around. The wine, beer and cookies were a lovely extra touch. The house was perfection. Cozy, comfortable, modern renovation but maintained all of its old charm. Beds we're comfortable, and a clothes rack provided for each of us. We felt like we were waking up in paradise every morning."

"Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. "We had a relaxing stay in this peaceful location. The house is well equipped and very clean. Susana our host lives nearby and checked in with us via text. She was friendly and not intrusive. The pool kept our children entertained. There is plenty to do in the area if you dont mind a drive. The only issue was the patchy internet which cannot be helped given the rural location. We were happy to disconnect for a while and relax. We would book again."

"Tapada da Beirã was a charming villa, it had everything we could have wished for, the hosts were lovely and were on hand with advice and knowledge of the area. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax or eat al fresco and a super swimming pool. You need a car to get around, the nearest shop is in Santo António das Areias. About 20 steps from the Villa is a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing as were the staff."

"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"I've been meaning to stay in this property for the last few years, but never managed to get there. The house exceeded our expectations. Although it was quite warm for October we didn't manage to use the pool. However, it was just nice to sit outside and eat or have a glass of wine and watch the sun set towards Castelo de Vide. We are already looking to go back sometime next summer."
