"Very nice hotel in the center of Barmouth. Very shorts walk to the beach. Nice and modern room with a large shower. The personal were very friendly. The hotel is in a pub - quite cozy. Can only recommend this hotel. Parking is around the corner of the street - there is no lift in the hotel "

"A lovely place with an interesting history, super friendly welcome, lovely room and everything we needed. We dined there too and the food was spot on, really tasty, good portions and fairly priced. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little chilly and we couldn’t find controls to change that. However I assumed as it was summertime the heating was off, it just happened to be a rainy chilly May Day! I had a lovely deep bath in the freestanding tub and was soon back to being warm!"

"Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station. "
