The Crash Pad is your adventure basecamp and hidden getaway overlooking the White River, with the added bonus of a gameroom for those days when you want to stick close to homebase.
Upstairs, you'll find a newly renovated kitchen with stainless appliances that is open to a living area with sweeping views of the White River from the plentiful windows and sliding glass door that leads you to the covered porch. Also upstairs is a full bathroom with stackable washer dryer and tub/shower combo and a master bedroom with queen bed. On the ground floor you'll find a separate gameroom where you can play board games at the pub table, snuggle up for a nap on the daybed, watch your favorite shows on the smart tv or challenge the kids to a game of ping pong. Outside you'll find an enormous deck with a lounge area, cornhole, and enough room to have a cartwheel contest. The space also offers a propane grill and firepit.
The living area is upstairs and accessed by stairs. The gameroom is on the ground level and has a separate entrance, with no interior access between the two.
The Crash Pad sits on a bluff overlooking the White River, but does not have direct river access. It should be noted that the bluff is steep and caution should be used , especially with small children. Public river access is available at the boat launch just a few minutes away. The cabin is accessed by a gravel road that can be bumpy in spots and may not be suitable for vehicles with very low clearance. It's not recommended for motorcycles.
There are three rental cabins that end of the gravel road private and share the riverfront acreage: The Crash Pad, Trout Run Lodge, and Little Fox Cottage.
Just over the bridge in Izard County, The Crash Pad is 5 minutes to Angler's restaurant and fishing on the White River, 8 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to Town Square, and 20 minutes to Blanchard Springs.
