Very clean and excellent service. There was plenty of lively nightlife and stunning views of Melbourne from our floor. We are locals to Melbourne but wanted an excuse to stay at the town’s hot new favorite - Hotel Melby. We brought our corgi with us and everyone was so kind and courteous. We will definitely be coming back and recommending the hotel to our family and friends!

This property is beautiful and walking distance to many different good and entertainment options. Coffee shop downstairs and rooftop dining on property are both very convenient. Security on premises in the evening was appreciated. Staff at check in were very friendly and helpful! Wonderful experience!

I like the decoration,no pool ,I asked for some amenities and never get it all very expensive especially the food ,if you do counts is much better stayin a hotel on the beach like Crown plaza or Hilton

The location was great to walk to restaurants. Very clean, friendly, but the walls are thin. Could hear phone conversations next door, 2 nights from 2 different guests (so it wasnt the person being loud)

The property is in the middle of the downtown area; you can walk to restaurants, stores, and bars. It is a short drive over the causeway to the beach. The roof top bar and restaurant are excellent, and the view is great. The room was clean and quiet.

Thought while the valet was good, quick and easy the price was high Our bathroom in room 730 the toilet ran and it had hot water in it and made bathroom a steam room if the door was closed we did tell the front desk about toilet and I believe she contacted maintenance

The property is in the middle of the small downtown area; you can walk to shops, restaurants and bars. We were able to park across the street from property at no cost. The hotel room was quiet and clean and large enough for two. We really enjoy the rooftop bar and restaurant. The view is great.

The tv in the bedroom was impossible to watch. It would get nice clear reception for about 10 minutes, then the picture would get scrambled. We had to turn the station down 1 channel then back up to the original station to continue watching. Really frustrating

Large gap under the door, caused very loud wind howling when the outside wind blew. No parking was a pretty big issue. Smoke alarm was faced toward the bed, so dealt with a flashing green light every 30 sec. It was very difficult to sleep with that train horning blowing every hour throughout the night. In regards to the train, staff was very friendly and did offer to put a noise machine in my room to help bleed out the sounds. Coffee shop and rooftop grill was fantastic.

When I checked in to the room, I was very disappointed that the ceiling and part of the room was not even painted… Just exposed concrete with the measurements from the construction still there. The room was so loud, between exposed concrete and laminate floors no wonder other guests complained of noise. When I finally got there I was met with a $340 bill, for one night. No special suite.

Regarding the cost concerns, we recommend contacting our guest relations team for assistance. It should be noted we may be a pet friendly property, but there is a surcharge involved with hosting an animal. We learned from guests around you that there was an animal barking from your room that was not made aware to the hotel upon check-in. Due to the noise disruptions brought to our attention from the other guests, we did have to add that 75 charge. We hope to better serve you in the future, and any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the front desk.
