"It’s not a hotel. It’s some guy running a scam. He offers converted apartment rooms for rent, but he’s not there so you cannot check in. There’s guards at the front door, but there’s no reception Area or check-in provided. And Hotels.com won’t give you a refund. And the travel insurance doesn’t work."

"A delightful guesthouse, very tastefully decorated and new. Exceptionally clean, with cold airconditioning and hot water available. The beds are firm but comfortable and the TV reception is good. "I recently had the pleasure to stay at The Irish Place Pub for two weeks. I couldn't have chosen a better location to spend time in Phnom Penh. The owner and staff went well beyond what one might find in the standard hotels throughout SE Asia. With a pub on the ground floor, excellent location, and friendly staff, I would highly recommend this establishment. I can't emphasize enough the sheer pleasure of my all too short stay at The Irish Place Pub."
