"Found the perfect spot to stay while attending a wedding right down the road. Was very clean and welcoming. Loved the decor and whole place was so relaxing. Enjoyed driving the cart to restaurants and around town. Would be a great place to stay especially if had additional family and friends with us as they had multiple cottages and an outside community gathering place available. Look forward to coming back!"

"My hubby and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and my retirement from teaching/school librarian)! This was the perfect place to stay at because: it was reasonably priced, it was located right in the heart of downtown Kerrville close to everything, & it had all of the amenities that you would need like a small kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, iron, and so much more! "Everything was perfect! The house was comfortable and welcoming. We had everything we needed and more. The beds are comfortable, great WiFi & kitchen has everything you need We loved morning coffee and evenings watching lightning bugs on the porch. The house is as close to los maples as you can get without staying in the park, perfect for day use. Exactly what we wanted for our vacation 💛"

"Our stay was amazing! The location couldn’t be better. Right on the water with an amazing closed in porch. The property also had kayaks that my husband and friend used to fish from. It’s also right across the street from the Nature Reserve, and the River Walk Trail. It was so fun to spend mornings walking with our coffee and seeing birds, fish, deer, and other small mammals!"

"This was a nice little place and overall, a great stay. Unfortunately, I was unable to access my Vrbo app (technical issues with the app, nothing wrong with the wifi here) and so did not receive the stay instructions that the homeowner did kindly provide via the app. They were not able to provide us with all the information over text but were responsive with the essentials-There were not a lot of asks- take out the trash, put towels in a laundry basket- really very reasonable and we were happy...

"The hosts were incredible!! Yummy breakfast in the morning, extremely nice and accommodating people, excellent communication, and the cottage was extremely clean! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay where I didn’t feel like a guest but I felt like family! We will be coming back for sure!!! Highly recommended! "

"The home was beautiful. Very wide open and spacious. Plenty of sitting areas inside and outside. Very luxurious linens on the beds. And High End kitchen ware. The master bath was so nice, the tub was heavenly! Perfect place for a family get together or a girls trip! You can’t go wrong be renting this house!"

"As always this property is an amazing stay! The private riverfront is so peaceful and tranquil it takes the stress right out of you. It reminds me so much of my time at nearby Camp Stewart when I was a kid. The cabin is very nice and I love the hill country view from the porch. The only thing I would like is for the cabin to have a full size oven instead of a toaster oven, but it wasn't anything that was going to hinder our stay. We will definitely return soon!"

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely the perfect place! The cabin was equipped with everything you could need and the views were breathtaking. The climb up and down to the river is very steep so you'd need to be able to handle that to access the river from the property. John was great and very helpful. Our dogs also had a great time swimming in the river. It was deep enough in spots for them to swim but shallow enough for us to sit in chairs and enjoy the water....

"The beauty of the ranch and the area just took my breath away. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the many birds that visited the back porch area. Not to mention the deer, turkeys, and rabbits. The cabin itself was absolutely charming and lacked for nothing.we enjoyed the homemade baked goods left for us, as well as the tour of the ranch. Kat was a wonderful tour guide, and we were sad to leave. It was a bit of beauty and serenity which we desperately needed."
