"The cottage was beautiful. We stayed for a concert and got a cab to Bala. Worked perfect for us for the night. Lots of space. Didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time exploring the property but overall was very happy with it! "

"Excellent location! The cottage feels fresh and new from the moment you walk in. It’s very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. We loved the extra touches like kayaks, canoes, and other amenities that gave us plenty to do. "Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. "Had a wonderful 10-day trip for 5. Plenty of space, great views and clean property. Home is stocked with only the basics so ensure you bring everything you need. The inclinator is an easy way down to the dock but be careful if you take the stairs- they are steep and narrow. "

"My family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage in Novar, Ontario. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cozy and stylish décor—it truly felt like a home away from home. "Very clean cottage. The lake was quiet and the perfect size for paddleboarding, canoeing etc. Fun for every age. Great memories were made."

"Terri was very attentive, responsive, made accommodations for us, and was available to make a minor repair the same day we reported it.The rental is exactly as expected, had everything we needed. I would say the only area that could use improvement would be the cleaning. The property would seem far more attractive if it had been cleaned more carefully inside and especially outside (the deck, outside furniture, etc.)"

"Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. "
