"First time renting a cabin like this. Im more of a back country tenting person. This was so beautiful, clean, quiet, had everything we needed and more."

"Wonderful location. A large wooded private property with its own private lake. Only one other cabin apart from this one. Complete silence surrounded by the leafy canopy of tall trees...heaven! Its like like staying in your own private Provincial Park. That is the glam part. The camp part means that there is no electricity, no plumbing and no wi-fi. But then who needs those urban comforts? Isnt the idea to escape from them for while? I certainly learned to appreciate every drop of water we used...

"Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles"

"The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside...

"Beautiful property nestled in the woods. Clean and updated cabin. Close to Huntsville and grocery store. Check in and check out instructions were clear and simple. "

"The place was spotless and the location was great. Unfortunately, the mattresses for the bunk beds were thin so my daughter didn’t sleep very well. There were a few other small things that could be improved such as replacing the toaster with one that works and fixing the toilet paper holder in the bathroom.But the host was responsive when I messaged that the door entry code didn’t come through."

"Place was very clean and fresh linen and towels were provided. The location is very private. Perfect place to spend time with family. I liked how you can hear the water flow when outside on the deck. The covered porch was another area to hang out, and faces the forest. We made good use of the BBQ. And having camp fires in the evening was relaxing. We drove to Arrowhead provincial park for swimming and went kayaking/swimming at Beaver Lake close by. "The property was secluded and peaceful. We had several deer walk through the yard, and we greatly enjoyed the full kitchen and screened-in porch. The host, George, was responsive and addressed any concerns we had promptly. Overall, it was a great trip. The only drawback is that this house has 3 beds, not 4 as listed. The second bedroom has a queen and a double bed only. Overall, would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a secluded and peaceful retreat. "
