"Great location - in walking distance to ferry. Nice, small private beach. Very small, minimalist rooms that are good for a short stay on the island. Updated furnishings but still an older motel - rooms have a smell; step back from the shower water when someone flushes the toilet or you get scolding hot water, etc."

"We enjoyed our stay. One odd thing was the porch light stayed on all night, so it was kind of strange that you couldn’t shut if off and it glared in the window. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s a good place to take family as it has tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a golf course. Rooms are nice and newly renovated."

"Expensive room but not sure how it compares to the area pricing. Also, VERY narrow stairway and no elevator. This would be challenging for elderly people. We were fine but it could be tricky."

"This is such a dainty (in a good way) property. The color schemes, as you walk up to the property, are very uplifting. Our room was in the main building on the second floor. We were glad a staff member was available to carry our luggage up the stairs. There are no elevators. The reception staff were pleasant. Breakfast was included in our stay and was enough to get us started for the day. Pequot also provides guests with complimentary, freshly-baked cookies in the evening. The beds were...

"Only planned to stay one day but all ferrys were canceled so we went back for another night. It was a great pleasure. More than cozy and comfortable. I would return"
