"Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location."

"The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for."

"Hotel was cosy, but 3 star rather than 5. Breakfast disappointing and overpriced"

"Best hotel in a long time (I have 40 stays per year). All renovated, super wifi, comfi bed, bathroom super with lots of pressure on the water, superb food, competent staff. I will for sure come back"

"I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. The room and en-suite were possibly the smallest we've ever...

"Great host, clean rooms all facilities that are required, great breakfast."

"Lovely gardens and good quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients."

"What a lucky find. Situated in a beautiful area of the Welsh countryside. Stayed overnight weather was awful but the property was cosy and kept to a very high standard. Breakfast was freshly made & very tasty. A big thank you to the hosts Heather & Neil who made us feel welcome. Will definitely be returning. Julie & John."

"Breakfast was two doors away and was chaos, and we were relieved not to have been booked in for more breakfasts. The room was ok but the ambiance was dismal."

"Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. Sadly Expedia does not include information about the live music at the Malthouse, so we were unprepared for the volume in our room immediately above the music which went on until about 12.30a.m. Not surprisingly, this rather spoiled our otherwise enjoyable stay."

"Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues."
