"Great home. Would upgrade the mattress in second upstairs bedroom. "

"Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it."

"The house met all of our needs and is beautiful decorated. We used the house as our base for a mini family reunion with my three siblings and their spouses. The house was the perfect size for the eight of us and the two dogs that came along with two of the couples. The large back porch overlooking the field behind the house was perfect to let the dogs run as the house is secluded from other houses and a short drive from the road. Our hosts were very responsive to our needs and quickly...

"Loved our room. Very clean. Everything well stocked with anything we may need. Even a flashlight-if needed. Spacious room to spread out. Loved the option of having a golf cart to ride around in. However, you should make more trails to drive around on. Communication was excellent. Plus, it was nice and quiet to be in Nature to get grounded again. Will love to stay again next year! Thank you for everything."

"This was the perfect home base for our family while visiting Garden of the Gods and the Shawnee National Forest. Everything was exactly has stated and shown in photos - just even larger than expected! The home was wonderful, and we appreciated everything provided including coffee and firewood for the firepit! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Ok. The WiFi did not work during stay."

"Great river views. Nice and quiet."

"Our family really loved the house and property. It was an excellent basecamp for surrounding hiking excursions. The property itself with the open floor plan, prairie trail, pond and fire pit really let us melt away hours in the evening as our legs recovered from hiking. The house a great feeling of privacy and safety so the kids could run around outside and quiet prairie walks could recharge the mind. The house itself had modern amenities, and was easy to manage. Cellular service isnt...

"We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was fantastic—convenient and quiet. The home itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was responsive, welcoming, and provided clear check-in instructions. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"
