"GPS led us on a narrow twisty road with no centerline or side markers. Kind of scary. After we arrived we found a much shorter, safer way to get to and from the property. Hostess was GREAT! She went out of her way to help us! I forgot chairs to go to the race at Bristol, she found some from her friend to loan to us. THANKS! Cottage itself was very nice, had everything we needed. "

"Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. "

The location is gorgeous, the reflection pond is a lovely bonus space, and the house itself is luxurious and outfitted with beautiful, artistic items, and the space makes relaxation easy. The quality of everything in the house is extremely high, including all of the equipment in the kitchen, which made cooking there a complete joy. "This beautiful historic home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. This location is convenient to the charming downtown district as well as a short drive to the Bristol race tracks. There are several wonderful restaurants to choose from that are very close to this location. "

"This was a great location for going to the racetrack. Less than a 20 minute drive. Close to downtown, which we could walk to in less than 10 minutes. The neighborhood overall seemed pretty safe. We would stay again. The hosts even prepared a cobbler for us that was ready when we arrived. Check this place out!"
