Welcome to Mountain View Haven, a three-story mountain retreat nestled on 5.8 private acres with stunning panoramic views. Just 2.5 hours from the GW Bridge and minutes from ski resorts, charming towns, and endless outdoor adventures, this is the getaway you’ve been dreaming of.

The home features 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a gourmet chef’s kitchen with a Viking stove, a hot tub, a steam shower, and a billiards room. It’s the ideal setting for families, couples, or friends looking to relax, explore, and recharge.

Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, firing up the BBQ, soaking in the hot tub under the stars, or hiking nearby trails, Mountain View Haven offers the best of Catskills living—indoors and out.

Main Floor

Step into the spacious living room with soaring 26-foot ceilings, a cozy three-sided fireplace, and large windows framing mountain views. The open-concept kitchen is a chef’s dream, complete with granite counters and everything you need to cook for a group.

A formal dining area leads out to the wraparound deck, where you’ll find outdoor seating and a gas grill. Also on the main floor is a luxurious primary suite with a king bed, gas stove, deck access, and en suite bath featuring a steam shower and clawfoot soaking tub. A half bath is located nearby for guest use.

Second Floor

Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms—one with a queen bed and TV, and the other with a king bed and a desk setup with dual monitors for remote work. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo serves both rooms.

There’s also a loft area overlooking the main floor, equipped with an elliptical, yoga mat, free weights, and a comfy reading nook.

Lower Level

The ground level is designed for fun. Enjoy a full-size pool table, bar area, and a sleeper sofa for extra guests or movie nights. A laundry room with washer, dryer, and utility sink is also located here.

While the garage and a storage room are off-limits to guests, there’s plenty of space in the driveway for parking.

Outdoor Living

Step outside to enjoy a wraparound deck with lounge chairs, a gas BBQ, and unforgettable sunset views. The hot tub is perfectly positioned for mountain gazing, and a fire pit is set up for evenings under the stars.

The large grassy lawn is great for games, lounging, or just enjoying the peaceful setting. With nearly 6 acres of private land, you’ll feel totally tucked away in nature while still being close to everything.

Pet-Friendly Policy

We welcome one well-behaved dog with prior approval and a small pet fee. Your pup will love the open lawn and trails just as much as you will.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats at this time.

Location Perks

You're just 10 miles to Plattekill Ski Center and 20 to Belleayre. The property is also close to local wedding venues, hiking trails, shops, and restaurants in Roxbury, Margaretville, and surrounding towns.

Pet-Friendly
We welcome well-behaved dogs with prior approval and a pet fee. The spacious yard, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings are perfect for pups.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats at this property.

Quiet Hours & Neighbor Respect
We love our neighbors—and we know you will too! Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum after 9 PM, especially around the fire pit or deck.

Early or late check-in may be available for an added fee with at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day requests cannot be guaranteed due to cleaning schedules.

Important Travel Info
There is no cell service at the house. Please enable WiFi calling on your phone before arrival so you can make and receive calls over the internet.

We recommend saving or writing down key check-in details—such as the address, door code, WiFi info, and host contact numbers—in case you lose signal while traveling.

A vehicle is required to get around. There are no ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) or reliable taxis in this rural area.

Winter Travel Advisory (October–April)
Delaware County is mountainous and beautiful—especially in the winter—but snow and ice are common. Please plan accordingly.

We strongly recommend:

AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles
Winter or all-season tires with solid tread
Avoiding 2WD or RWD vehicles in snowy or icy conditions
The driveway is plowed and maintained in the winter. A shovel is provided to help you clear walkways if needed.

Country Living Note
This home is located in a rural, natural area. While the exterior is professionally treated, insects or mice may occasionally find their way inside—especially in cooler months when they seek warmth.

If you are especially sensitive to wildlife or critters, this may not be the best fit for your stay.

Water & Septic System
The home uses a private well and septic system, which is typical for this area. Please help us care for it by:

Conserving water during dry spells
Avoiding water games (sprinklers, kiddie pools, Slip ‘N Slides)
Only flushing toilet paper—no wipes, paper towels, or hygiene products
Misuse can lead to water shortages or costly repairs, and we appreciate your care and consideration.

To maintain the safety, quiet, and natural beauty of the area, the following activities are not permitted on the property:
