"A friend and I enjoy hiking and exploring new areas. We loved the location of this home. It was clean, efficient, and peaceful. First night we listened to the Loons echo across the lake. Unfortunately, we had rainy/windy weather on the other nights that prevented us from hearing them. However, did see one swimming near our cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin for small groups or family."

"The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and more. It was cozy and spacious. The location was perfect, just a short drive to many great places. Lake access was a short walk away and it was nice to sit on the dock and stargaze at night. The front porch swing was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The back bedroom had plenty of room for air mattresses, if needed. There was a musty odor when we first arrived, but it cleared out when opening windows and running the ceiling...

There are plastic bags, or barriers, on all of the mattresses. I guess that’s hygienic? It doesn’t make for a comfortable night’s sleep, however. "

"The owners of this property are amazing! From the moment I booked, Jodi was in touch with me. She gave me many recommendations and was very responsive! The property is well maintained and I love the trails and quick walk down to the river. My only caution is to make sure that you have a truck or vehicle with 4 wheel drive, it had previously rained and there was a lot of water/mud in the dirt road on the way to the cabin and it would be difficult to do without that. "This small cabin was perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed for a weekend in May 2025 with our two dogs. It has all the basics for a no frills getaway and close enough to all the local flair. We were in town for the grand reopening of the Cherry Bowl Drive-In, which is just down the street. This cabin is right on the river which was cool. It shares a wall with another cabin, but we never heard the other occupants. Our agenda didn’t allow us to take advantage of the other fun activities...

"This was the perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I. It was quiet, private and intimate. My wife loved the beach access. Only complaint was that you could tell no one had stayed there in a while. We had to wipe down dusty surfaces and kill a lot of very large spiders/webs that should’ve been noticed with a quick cleaning crew walk through. Nothing that’s a huge deal though. We would definitely rebook and refer our friends and family. "
