"Clean modern hotel, great staff. Sometimes they couldn't understand me, but then they would call in someone who could speak better English. I stay here four days, took a trip the staff helped organize and then returned to this hotel till I left Mandalay. I started walking around the area. Stores and restaurants were close so I could avoid the healthy taxi prices when I was hungry. The road is torn up in front of the hotel but I feel sure it will be reapaired eventually. Try the shaved ice cream...

"Hôtel bien situé, propre, housekeeping ts les jours. le wifi fonctionnait bien, tv avec quelques chaines internationales, les 3 dames de l accueil ont su répondre à ttes nos questions/attentes. Le seul point négatif a été le pdj et son équipe pas très compétente...ce fut un de nos meilleurs hôtel en Birmanie"

"We stayed at The Hotel Nova for 3 nights and very much enjoyed it. The staff is really nice and eager to help with everything and the restaurant on the 10th floor serves good and very reasonably priced food (mix of local and western). The hotel is within walking distance of the night market, and centrally located in Mandalay. However, not with a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Grab a taxi - it is not expensive to reach the good restaurants - we can highly recommend the Mingalarbar...

"Nice location and clean. Bathroom could have an update, but acceptable. Staff is super good. After being ripped off by a tutu driver, the hotel front desk helped booked a nice driver who took us to see 4 cities with a reasonable price for the second day. "
