"Enjoyed our 2-night stay at this home. Situated between Rt100 and the West River, it has direct main road access with the natural ambiance of river floating by. We could hear/see ducks and geese in the morning. The back deck was covered with a snow pile that we had to shovel to gain access to the grill for our Spring visit. "Stayed Fri - Mon over Columbus Day weekend - overall the cabin itself was very nice. Clean, cozy and all the amenities listed. Some things to note: -There’s no dishwasher so bring paper plates and bowls to make life easier! -There’s a washer dryer combo in the kitchen but only the dryer is available for use -The front door is tricky with the lock but you’ll quickly get the hang of it -The shower is also tricky at first but you’ll also get the hang of that! -Not really any closet or drawer space...

"This home was under 20 mins to the wedding venue we attended, very convenient. There was a glitch in my booking and VRBO did not list my booking. Right up to day of check in the house was listed as available on their website. That was a bit unnerving and made it challenging to communicate with the host. Another comfy chair or two would have been nice. All in all we were satisfied"

"Kay and Glenn were super nice. Very accommodating to breakfast needs, and gave good recommendations of places to go. Kay made some amazing Blueberry pancakes in honor of my mom that passed. And now she makes amazing red velvet pancakes with icing. Coffee was different every day, and very knowledgeable of area. Will be coming back again. I am from Maine originally, so this felt like home. Very welcoming."

"The host put a lot of thought into the space, with a cute gift of local maple syrup, a binder full of nearby things to do and restaurants, and overall the space was clean and well maintained. Nice historic location, we had fun walking around the town. This was a fun stay as we drove up for the solar eclipse and drove to our viewing area the next morning. Minus 1 star, because though the home did appear clean, there did seem to be a kitchen mouse. Made the property owner aware of this issue."

The property is beautifully kept and located in a tranquil, wooded setting, perfect for relaxing. The owners really went the extra mile making sure the property was fully stocked with everything we could need along with numerous thoughtful “extras”.
