"When we arrived, the unit we had reserved had not been cleaned. We called the offsite (no onsite personnel) number. The person tried putting us in the unit next door. It also hadn't been cleaned. He then tried a third unit which had been cleaned. We chose to stay there. We were comped a dinner at the onsite steakhouse for the hassle. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, but having no onsite personnel is an issue. It is a very remote area so getting help is probably an issue."

"Owners called to personall check in on us before the stay. They upgraded us for free to their largest cottage. Everything was as advertised. My daughter and I had a nice relaxing evening. P. S. The Clark's Grocery makes the best supreme pizza I've had in a very very long time. So so worth it! Glad we stayed! Thanks Hales!"

"Cozy little place for sure. We needed place close to City of Rocks.had everything we needed. Couple of suggestions for the host and guests. A little trash can for the portopotty. One of the bed is on the loft..ladder to get to it is tricky to get down. Unlees you're 6ft tall and strong enough to left over head, let the host know you be using. Otherwise you'd have message the host. Response was quick for us but things come up sometimes. Overall, happy and will stay again. "

"If you're looking for more space than a traditional hotel room offers this is the perfect place! It has a fenced in peaceful grassy patio we sat out in every evening; beautiful and spacious kitchen/living/dining common space. Plus; no long hotel hallway with room doors banging; you have your own entry door directly to outside.
