We happened to be at this hotel during our last-minute-trip, as it was the only hotel in Port de Soller with good reviews having the last available room. We started in a doubleroom with a balcony to the mountains, and moved to a bigger doubleroom with a balcony to the sea.
The good things:
- Fantastic location: there is no traffic between the hotel and the beach, you can enjoy your breakfast just in front of the beach. Despite the hotel being fully booked, there were always enough tables and enough food. If you have a room facing the sea, you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets from your room/balcony
- Really friendly and helpful staff: very helpful to keep trying to upgrade us, guide us with any questions we had, we could use the parking lot just behind the hotel after the checkout and could take a shower in the SPA area before taking to the airport.
- Rooms: the first double room with a mountain view was small, and the double bed was 140 (maybe 160cm). I expect a 180cm bed in a double room. The bed in the bigger room facing the sea was 180 cm, but consisted of 2 single beds pushed together. Rooms were clean, had lots of hangers, bathrooms contained very nice organic soap and bodylotion.
Areas for improvement:
- The mattress protecting sheets are not nice to sleep on - make a noise with every movement and feel hot.
- The breakfast was very good, but quality of the omelet depended on the chef of the day.
- The soap containers are dripping after use-waist of the products.
